There doesn't seem to be a strict schedule. I remember last year the BMW USA website lagged quite a bit with their '24 updates. But I was able to see the new '24 configurations on the BMW UK website pretty quickly, so you might want to try refreshing there for '25 updates in the next couple of weeks.

Dang couple of weeks its a long time. I finally chose color and did a full build on a 2024 when news of these new features came out for 2025’s lol

Any idea if IX will get the new i-drive 9?

Even though we just got our iX last month, still fun to follow along on this thread. It would be exciting to order a 2025 iX if we were without one. Knowing all we know now, it would be the EV we would order today.

The iX will not get i-Drive 9. Although the number is large than 8.x, it’s actually a less capable operating system only used on lower end BMWs. Also i-Drive 9 does not support the iDrive controller/wheel, so it’s used in cars for cost savings.

That’s too bad. GM and ford start this year.

Looks great, what an awesome car. I do like my current steering wheel shape but also like this option of silver trim.

Honestly this is so drab looking Also, not sure if anyone has pointed this out but the dark silver trim also removes the wood console, even if you select clear and bold crystal appliqué. I know lots of folks have been asking for a crystal sans wood option

Based on the posted US order guide, the luxury package will still feature the sustainable wood decor on the center console. It seems this dark silver trim will be standard on the M60 in the US starting in 2025. Unclear if the bronze interior trim will even be an option for the M60 in the US.

Still waiting for it to populate. It seems like 2025's with be what 2024's were last month and 2024's will get a slight MF incentive to help move them, but don't quote me on this.

Well, the March lease program numbers have apparently been published. According to https://forums.edmunds.com/discussio...and-prices/p13, which has always had reliable info, the numbers went back down to the mid-November/December 2023 program, i. e. 0.00050 MF and 54% residual with $9900 lease credit for 36/10K. However, according to the BMW's official iX xDrive50 lease offer on here - https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...l-offers-legal - the numbers should be 0.00069 MF and 53% residual (use BMW Lease Offer Decoder - https://itsanalogue.github.io/bmwleasedecoder/ - and paste in lease offer info from bmusa.com link above), i. e. $749 a month before tax, for 36/10K, $90,595 MSRP minus $4,705 capitalized cost reduction, $4,000 suggested dealer contribution, and $9,900 lease credit. So, I am not sure which numbers are correct. Maybe bmwusa.com has wrong lease info as the moderators on the Edmunds forum pull the numbers directly from BMW.

Frustrating. I factory ordered an iX in mid February using a 2024 allocation that had an original production date of 2/23. It has since been rescheduled to a 2025 (April 1st production). I just want to make sure the dealership will honor our deal.

Very simple, western region has a different program.

Western region is .0005 and +1 residual bump, everywhere else is .00069 buy-rate and same residual as last month.

The real kicker.... 2025 iX program appears to not include any lease rebate right now. I am sure it will get added back, but as of now, it's not. .00111 MF and 50% @ 15k.

Well, that may be but doesn’t BMW normally have the same lease programs for both east and west coast? In any case, the moderators on the Edmunds forum are now saying that the March lease program numbers have disappeared from their database, so it looks like BMW is updating them.

I promise it's not a maybe. Yes, they normally are the same nationwide, but not this month. West Coast also have a 1k BEV conquest rebate on all the EV's that no one else has, but it doesn't stack with loyalty so only makes sense to use on on the iX if you're a loyal customer.

The Edmunds mods can say whatever they want, I am getting it straight from dealer contacts across the nation.

You are right! This month the lease programs are indeed zip code dependent. For my NJ zip code (07010) bmwusa.com shows $749 a month lease deal, i. e. 0.00069 MF and 53% residual for 36/10K. However, for 90405 zip code (CA), it shows $699 a month, i. e. 0.0005 MF and 54% residual for 36/10K.

Thanks Scott. On the 2025 iX price guide (page 6) I see AC and DC Charging so conforming the 2025 iX does not have a NACS port?

The only change is what Scott originally mentioned - see below. 2025 will not have NACS port and most likely next year’s LCI will not either. BMW’s announcement to adopt NACS in 2025 really refers to being able to use a NACS to CCS adapter with Tesla superchargers just like Ford started doing recently. Having a native NACS port on BMW EVs is at least couple of years away in my opinion.

“There is a new option, Code ZID, Interior Design Package which includes M Interior Trim in Dark Silver and an M steering wheel. This is optional on the iX50 and standard on the iX M60. On the iX50, you are required to order ZSP Sport Package in order to be able to add this package.”

I may be transitioning from a 2021 xDrive45e to an 2025 iX. Does anyone know or think the range on 2025 xDriver50 model will be any more than 2024? Any major changes to 2025 model year impacting range/charging? Thanks!
