Drawback is - my wife now wants to go on family drives all the time. It's not my car anymore in the same way the Porsche was. ;-)
Can you post how you fit it? We could not make it fit.

As promised - Baby Jogger City Mini Zip in i8 trunk. The only trick is to make sure the front wheels are turned in and tucked away behind the rear wheels. Then it's a pretty easy fit.

Thanks for the pic. I see though that yours is the Baby Jogger City Mini Zip which we didn't try. We had tried the Mini, which I think is what was posted originally. I ordered the Mini GT, which supposedly has slightly smaller folded dimensions than the Mini. Hopefully it fits. If not, we'll probably exchange for the Zip or Mountain Buggy Nano.

Has anyone found a seat protector for under the carseat that fits the backseat well? Most are going to be too big.

OK think I'm ready to take the plunge. Might visit a dealer who has a 2015 on the lot.

I think if EuroDelivery were an option I would have gotten one already. I would love to drive an i8 to Como.

My i8 held my family of 6.

OK, fine, so 4 of us were tiny foster kittens (going to the vet for checkups).

I own no garage queens. If it's in my driveway, it's been ridden hard and put away wet. ...and now, with a light crust of Maine road salt.

Well I'll throw my update in as well, I finally caved and got a 2019. Fitting my family of four is tough as all three sons (and me) are 6'2" - 6'4". Their mom is -ex and does not fit in trunk. The two 6'2" kids sat sideways facing each other in back seats. 6'4" and dad have front seats 2" from all the way back, so easy fit for us. Dogs are easy fit, and like Louv, six foster kitties. IMO the i8 is highly functional, back seat useful around town, grocery getter, dd work commute on e, great long distance cruiser for two. Love this car!!! Way more fun to drive than prior f10 M3. Still debating on whether to get a seasucker rack for my wind surfing gear, as it makes way more sense to fire up the blue beast 4runner.

If you squeeze things around a little... will fit.
