Trip randomly resetting

Hi all,

I've noticed a couple of times now, the trip on the right of the screen has reset its self, the first time I thought I had reset it by accident. The second time, I used the car, then plugged it in overnight, it was reset to 0 the next day, quite annoying as its to know how many miles I've done on a tank/charge. Has anyone else had this issue?

I believe there is a setting on the iDrive that allows you to have the system automatically reset after each journey. Without this on, it only resets when you push the button on the dash (this is how mine is set).

Found this is the manual...

Resetting the trip computer

On the Control Display:
1. "Vehicle info"
2. "Trip computer"
3. "Reset": all values are reset.
"Automatically reset": all values are reset approx. 4 hours after the vehicle came to a standstill.
