The Seasucker system (monkey bars) is working well so far.

yes! And I sink the poor thing, but it's more useable than my kite board in the small lake/fickle wind here. I'm leery of carrying my paddleboard as that thing is a Queen Mary.

Their ski rack is cool too! We did 900 miles each way from UK to Switzerland earlier this year.

in that photo with the skis or anyone who's mounted a bike, is there a way to open the back hatch or do you have to toss your luggage/bag in from the passenger compartment?

You can keep the sea sucker attached - but you do need to open the key lock on the rear-most one to allow the ski’s a bit of space to move. We ended up taking the ski’s in each night anyway so it wasn’t really a problem.

I think you could mount both on the roof too. I was worried about the carbon fibre leaking in air - but the suction pads are so large it wasn’t an issue in the end.

I mount both sets of pads on the roof - important to have large surface board as level as possible to minimize wind resistance. No issues w clearance for doors or hatch (when board is off)

I have a 2019 i8 Roadster. I’m interested in a ski rack and a rack for my 60 pound electric bicycle. Will the Seasucker work? I’m naturally nervous about using one of these racks in the Colorado mountains. I assume they really work and hold?

I would appreciate suggestions for which models work, Instructions, videos, etc.

Thank you.

seasucker

The system works well. Not sure about attachment locations for a roadster. And 60 lbs could be an issue. I use my 4-runner for anything heavier than 30 lbs.
