Tire recommendations For I4 M50

Does anyone have experience with replacement tires on EV I4 M50. I’m considering Bridgestone Sport 255/35 R20 97Y.

I had the OEM 19" wheels with the Hankook S1 Evo3 that came with the car; changed them out after just under 15K miles as the rears were down to 2/32". I replaced them last month with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. While the Michelins feel a bit better and grippier to me, my range has definitely decreased ~15%. Could be partially due to the colder weather we've had and still breaking these new tires in (~500 miles on them so far).

Also had the Hankook Evo3s but my rears were at 3/32” after only 6k miles. I went with the BMW * Michelin Pilot Sport 4 over the 4S due to range concerns and noticed only a slight hit in range.

Not as grippy as the 4S but much better than the Evo3 in my opinion.

What I'd get would depend on wheel size. I'm going for the Sport Cup when my pirellis wear out. Never had tires that sticky before. Should be fun.

FWIW...I viewed a video from TireRack about EV tires. One thing that came out of that was that new tires will have less range than worn tires as the new tires have more grip and therefore more friction. So reduced range with your replacement tires might be due to that as opposed to changing the tire model.

Front wheel change to 9j ET30 R20
Rear wheel change to 9.5j ET38 R20
=Custom forged by chinese factory, same as M performance 862i style, the genuine parts just bigger diameter but cannot suitable for wide tires.

Considering the weight of the vehicle, upgrade the diameter and increase the tire width at the same time。

Front tire change to 265 35 ZR20
Rear tire change to 275 35 ZR20
=The tire select Continental SC7, the test result in Tyre Reviews was better than PS4S in dry way. It doesn’t often rain or snow in Beijing, so choose tires based on the climate of the city you live in, or prepare summer tires and winter tires both.

The factory Goodyear Eagle A/S are a good German-Made all-around tire with a 500 tread wear rating. My PZero summer tires were done in 8000 miles. Have 12000 miles on the Goodyears, and still have a little life left in them.
