Look what arrived yesterday!

First BMW - 2023 i4 M50 and so far I love it - definitely made the right decision re this vs Tesla M3. Have a few questions:
  • I've been told I need to be really careful with this paint - any suggestions? It will be outside which I already talked about in a separate thread but thought I'd ask again.
  • Went to the dealer yesterday just to talk to the genius to get oriented a bit and we noticed that I was missing the digital key card. He tried to activate a new one but we were unable to get it to work (another guy tried too) and they suggested I make a service appt which I did. Any suggestions? I did some web searches and tried the things I found.
  • It does have a few paint chips - do the touch up paint products work well? I see BMW doesn't carry this color (frozen blue) but some other third party sites do.
  • Any way to get the remainder of the Electrify America 2 years of free charging? I see I need the production number for the promo code? Any idea how I find that just to try in case the previous owner didn't use it?
  • There are a LOT of settings. Was up pretty late last night playing / looking thru them. Any must change settings or settings people like?

Looks fantastic! Love the frozen colours. I saw my Sunset Orange in frozen and wished I’d gone for it.

Congrats bro and welcome home new i4!

Get some PPF to protect the heavy impact areas.

Check out Dr Colorchip to touch out the small rock chip areas.

Thanks need to wash it maybe today so I can find all of them. I'll check out Dr Colorchip. The worst of it that I've noticed so far is the drivers door edge which I probably can't do much about

I love that color! I was looking at a used orange one and almost went for it instead of the blue one. Post a picture - would love to see it! Didn't even know the orange came frozen.

Key card is VIN specific. They can’t just take one off the shelf or from another car and pair it to your car.

Interesting. Genius guy didn't know that. Seems odd tho because you have to activate the card and have the two physical keys in the car with you.

You do but it is still a key and you have to activate it enable it in the vehicle before it can be used in the vehicle.
