No, but thanks. Curious, does it still work?

New ones available to purchase if I really wanted one. Don't know that I do.

When I was a kid my dad used to buy all our TVs used. We were poor. Didn't have a color TV til they had already been out for years.

The family's first TV (a Stromberg Carlson) only had VHF channels 2 thru 13. When our hometown had a UHF station, channel21, go on the air, my Dad purchased a UHF tuner (channels 14-51)..it sat on top of the TV.

When you're disappointed that a favorite former watering hole is closing, then realize you haven't been there in over 30 years.

I think I spent 1/2 of my life looking at the backside of TV sets.

We also tested tubes for walk-in customers. Typically, they carried the tubes in a lunch sack. The smarter customers carefully labeled their tubes with masking tape and numbers. One memorable day, a fellow emptied his sack onto the counter, then pointed to a rather mangled aluminum "tube." Turns out, that was an electrolytic capacitor. He said that he had to use pliers to remove it.

We generally discouraged customers going into our shop. At the entrance, we posted a sign that seemed to work pretty good: "DANGER! 500,000 Ω!

I sold my pristine, in the original box, JVC QL-Y66F turntable last year for $1,200. I then sold off most of my album collection for $5 to $50 per album.

My mom let me stay in my pajamas and play around in the house on a weekday while she watched a funeral procession on TV, JFK.

We electrocuted out hotdogs on the dinner table with a wicked device dad made in high school shop. Dad said, "Don't touch the spikes," so we didn't.
