Possibly with this open source tool which is sometimes helpful:

Thanks, I was curious if the dealership mentioned it to him. I would think his issue is likely to affect many of our cars.

My car just got unloaded in Brunswick, and I quickly checked to see if I had an open notice, nothing and the leaky valve hold was closed.

Hoping no more holdups and car can be shipped out in a few days to the dealer.

Good luck to everyone

I posted the link to the unofficial BMW recall tool that’s been very accurate and reliable:

Since you live in NY, why did your car end up in the Brunswick port? Unless it's getting delivered to a dealer not in state close to NY.

I started a new thread for this defect code. Hopefully, someone with the inside BMW knowledge will chime in.

See, this post about what defect code 0061370800 is. It seems like it requires a software update.

Yep, I am in Florida now and using a dealer closer to here. Hoping I am still here and not in NY when car comes in otherwise has to be shipped up north and more delay.

Disappointed it’s not already here but the car sat in Germany at factory for 7 weeks after being built, I think for the leaky valve replacement

Oh well.

Sharing my progress:

My iX is on Polaris Highway (departed Bremerhaven on 02/29). It was expected to arrive at the Baltimore Port on 03/11. But it's still on route and the new ETA is fluctuating between 03/15-03/16.

That's a 5-day delay in the sea. Is that normal?

I'm assuming it could be due to weather (headwinds, ocean currents, etc).

Mine got delayed at sea by around 4-5 days, so I think it’s normal. The ship was doing only 4-5 knots instead 10-15 it was capable of.

Mine got delayed around 6 days on the water to New York.

Hoping the software updating issue doesn't cause a further delay.

I called Genius and they said my car was scheduled for a trailer to the dealer tomorrow 3/12 although it is usually a few days later. Supposedly a 1 day trip.

With any luck may have car late next week.

Good luck to everyone

We get no update or explanation why it's been under stop order at port for over 2 Weeks.

Bummer, I feel for you. So close, yet so far away

My car was completed and built in factory on 12/12 and just now going to dealer. Will hopefully get car next week barring any further delay.

Man I don't know how you are able to stay patient all this time. Nerves of steel! I would've canceled my order long ago.

I called Genius today and confirmed that the car is out of the VPC and awaiting carrier assignment. The status in My Garage still says "At the port". When is the status supposed to change?

I don't think there is an "awaiting carrier assignment" status for the destination ports. This status only appears when your car leaves the factory. The next status you will see is "in transit" when the carrier picks up your car.
