Audi Salespersons Goes Ga-Ga Over Our iX
My wife and I love seeing up close vehicles new to us and they had a E-Tron GT advertised in blue (our favorite color as some might remember). We really enjoyed looking at the GT but a) had no buying intentions (we were just on the interstate and driving buy the dealership), and b) it was definitely stunning looking but size-wise never for us.
However, the salesperson showing us his E-Tron GT parked right outside his main door was as interested (in love with) our iX than he was in showing us his E-Tron. He went nuts first over its outside (“damn the front of that is beautiful”) and then asked if I would show him the inside, (“WOW; it looks like a dash panel from the Enterprise”). Then we thought we would get back to his presenting us his stunning E-Tron but another salesperson was walking about 30’ away back inside, but when he caught sight of our car he detoured over to us — and it was chapter two of a BMW love-in by him too. It was a fun fifteen minutes all around at the Audi dealership. We still are loving our iX (below) and yet nice that it appealed to others selling a premium brand. |

I still think the e-tron is one of the best looking EVs on the outside, but unfortunately on the inside it's an Audi....

The e-torn GT is different. On the inside it’s a Porsche. Unlike all the other e-trons.

Realizing that VAG owns Porsche, actually the GT looks like an Audi inside:
And a Porsche on the outside: But I was referring more to the 240-ish real world miles of range, the MMI interface, the VAG/Audi ownership experience (I've owned more than one). The GT IMO certainly offers more for your money, both can be speced for similar performance, they share many components. But at the end of the day, one is a Porsche and one is an Audi - if someone wanted a Taycan they should just get a Taycan, money and looks no object. And obviously I prefer BMW or I would be driving 4 rings and Vorsprung durch Technik. Good to have choices! |

You mean this blue… I’m still enjoying my ‘23 RS GT picked last Oct. at the incredible unicorn price of $664 base monthly. Knock on wood, but no real hiccups. Did experience a brief home charging issue that resolved itself, and I picked up a screw in my front tire, but other than that, it keeps going strong. Dated/lagging infotainment, but such a presence
