I want an i4 Coupe

If they made an i4 Coupe, I might consider it. Until then, I think I'll stick with my M440i Coupe.

If you are interested enough in something as critical as an electric vs ICE powertrain…just leave the rear doors closed if they bother you.

I own no garage queens. If it's in my driveway, it's been ridden hard and put away wet. ...and now, with a light crust of Maine road salt.

I would prefer a true coupe option also. I think the 4 series coupe is far better looking than the GC. The 4 series looks a bit like the 8 series to my eye. But obviously the deep thinkers at BMW believe the GC would have better marketability.

And the G26/G28 are the LWB version of the 4er/3er, so more space for batteries; doing an G22-based i4 would mean they'd have to re-engineer a whole lot in the undercarriage/floor unit, which sounds like a non-starter for a niche car like a coupe.
