Great an entire generation of BMWs with that grill. What a poor design choice.

I like the side and back, hate the front
Why can't they design it without a grill which is pointless? It's like the designers felt they had to put something there and went over the top. Yeah Tesla front is boring but this is too much. M3/M4 at least you can say a grill is needed, this there is no reason for that thing. Would actually consider buying if not for that. |

I don't want a SUV or a crossover. I love the Taycan and its Audi cousin, but they are too much money for me. The i4 sounds perfect for me on paper, but there is no way I'm gonna spend my money on such an ugly face. |

“Why doesn’t McDonalds get rid of the arches outside of their locations?” “Nike should take the swoosh off their running sneakers to save weight!” Your statement about the grill/kidneys makes as much sense as those suggestions. They are on there because they ARE the BMW brand and what makes their cars recognizable parked in the grocery parking lot or a mile down the street. |

I can understand not liking one design element...I don't think I've ever had what I would consider a design-perfect car. But, in all aspects of everything an automobile provides in one's life, I cannot understand this final conclusion.

I have a roomy, incredibly comfortable, and cargo-versatile 3 GT in my garage right now. Trust me....the i4 design is much sleeker!

That's some heavy looking design with so many different design elements taken left and right and put together in huge language mess ... I can only see conflicts between elements put together randomly... it's borderline giving me a headache trying to understand what's going on. A bit 3 series, a bit of 4 series, half assumed kink, 4 series back kind of, hockey crosse like on 5 series, side lines are completely boring, not a hint of muscular shoulders or hip... strange elements on where exhaust would be on the diffuser. This car is a mix of things with no real identity of its own. That's my opinion anyway

BMW's Exterior Design Teams need to be relieved their duties! Why does an electric car 🔋 have to look like a plasticky electric car? Stick with the original sleeker Exterior Design Concept minus the gold paint job please.

I'm surprised to say I am impressed with the look. The black G22 grill works, glad hey didnt use the iX grill which looks bad. Hopefully the higher end M version gets a more sporty aero package.

2nd this. This looks very generic. I understand that evolution has to take place with designs but nothing on this screams BMW ethos. Hell nothing whispers either.

I don't even get my hopes up for BMW designs any more. Just another generically ugly car but this one has an ugly and unnecessary grill.
BMW models that appeal to me getting fewer and fewer. I still love the M2 and M5, X5s still look good but that's it for me. I used to enjoy the styling from top to bottom of the line up. |

Wow cant believe they r using the 4er grille, atleast the concepts had shown something a bit smaller, but wow tripling down on this grille which is arguably the worst of all
