NYC Meet?

Okay sorry I haven't been on the boards, let me try and get this shit in order!

I say we go with afocoryw20's idea and park in Jersey City in a secure garage and take the path train to the city.

We can meet/greet before that in Liberty State Park (which is in JC), take our pics with the cars, etc. From there we can go park the cars in a garage nearby and take the path into the city.

Going up to bear mountain is cool and a nice drive but the way this meet is going it's more of a hangout (opposed to the normal meet in a parking lot standing in a circle discussing BMW's). Sure we all have the same car and that's what brings us together but what's more fun - standing in a circle (in the cold weather) or parking the cars, going to the city, drinking AND talking about the cars there???

Jersey City is good for everyone in South NJ and North NJ as well as NYC so it seems to be the best location, and it also provides 20 minute PATH service to NYC.

For everyone in NYC that doesn't want to take the trip to NJ and then back to NYC we can give you the location we are going to hit up in the city and you can meet us there for the hangout. I think this will give us more of a turnout for those in NYC who DON'T want to take their car out but just want to come hang out!

Sorry so long but the date is coming and we need a solid plan!

I went through all the posts for this thread and it seems that there are some common themes.

First the date will be December 3rd. Since no one is confirming this, I will stick my nose in and declare this to be THE DATE.

Second issue is the location.
There are a bunch of votes for Jersey City
And then there are some votes for Jone's Beach, Queens etc.
Bear Mountain got some votes as well.

I would recommend Jersey City by Liberty State Park. It has a good view and then people can decide what they want to do after that.

Jone's Beach and places out there are good, but I dont really feel like spending $$$ on tolls.

Bear Mountain was a good suggestion but its too far from anything. No offense to whoever suggested it.

So I strongly suggest Dec. 3rd @ Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ.

I dont know exactly where we're staying. Um i basically need info on the cheapest/quickest way to get to the meet and back (but if we go out after, im sure we can hitch a ride to the afterparty haha).. I would hate to drag my friends along to have them spend money to go back and forth.. So whatever u guys think is best.

McSorely's Old Ale house on 15 E. Seventh Street is always a good time during the afternoon.... love it when they bring out all those mugs at once, its been there since 1854!
For all you German biergarten lovers, the best in the city is Loerley Biergarten goes nicely with a bunch of german engineered E90's!
Saturday afternoon full of beer/booze and E90's sounds great!
