Hi guys, for those of you who bought a used i8, did you negotiate the price or play listed ? And was it a private or dealership sale ? If you did negotiate, how much were you able to drop the price from the listed one ?

I bought mine used. It was advertised at £54k. I was lucky, I found the spec I wanted locally with BMW extended warranty. It had been advertised for a while, so I worked out the trade in price (£44k) and offered slightly above that (£46k) and secured that after demonstrating I was prepared to walk away.

You can negotiate i8 for a pretty good discount. These cars aren't selling well.
