Coding the LIM function

Use the "SET" button to set the maximum speed.

i3 SLD Enable

SAS
> 3000 FAS
> Funktionen
> LDM_SLD_Funktion
> ein
> LDM_SLD_vmax_kmh
> wert150
> LDM_SLD_vmin_kmh
> wert30
> LDM_SLD_Auspraegung
> normal

If you operate in MPH, adjust accordingly, so instead of changing the 'kmh' values change the 'mph' values.

Note: ECO Pro will no longer lock you to their predefined speeds.

Enjoy!

Would it be possible to code this using the BimmerCode app?

Did anyone successfully configure this?
This cannot be done with BimmerCode because BimmerCode didn't have expert mode on i3's SAS module

Good morning,

I am all new to this forum - I will get my i3 within the next days and I was wondering why there is no LIM function (is there any that can be ordered?).
If I am not wrong, mine will have cruise control. Do I lose any feature by coding the above in order to gain LIM functionality?

Hi i am new here also, I have a 2016 94ah with standard cruise and really miss the speed limiter function.

So by doing the coding as stated above does pressing the steering wheel SET button set the speed limiter to the current speed?
Would pressing the SET button again cancel it?
Is the limited speed indicated at all?
Can the minimum be coded as 20mph instead of 30?
Does the SET button still set the speed in cruise control?
Can this coding only be done with E-SYS?

Thank you.
