That's inland quite a ways

My prescription did almost blow out of my hand this morning because I kept a hold of my door when I opened it though

14mph right now, sunny and 70

I ran the miles after I posted. I didn’t realize you were on the coast, 100 miles away. He rented motorcycles and rode the PCH and Mulholland on Saturday, said it was cold.

I wanted to ride. Wife bought herself a new helmet for me for Christmas. She was having NONE of that at 55-60 degrees. To me that is almost perfect full jacket weather

Maybe tomorrow I ride to work!

And it's snowing again in upstate SC. They are only calling for 1"-3"....but supposed to drop to 25f tonight and be a hard freeze. So that means black ice.

So in 3 weeks...we have had snow, then tornadoes, then snow, then temps where things started blooming, and now snow again????

We had a total white-out this morning, traffic was a mess. Fog was so thick could barely see 100ft. On this one main road, with only fields on either side, that is posted 50MPH, most people were barely doing 55. Get out of my way, I will lead, you can follow my taillights!!!!

I was still 10 minutes early to work.

One of the TV news talking heads on the NYC news tonight said that there was more snow forecast in the Carolinas tonight than New York City has accumulated in total for the entire 2019-2020 winter season so far.

Enjoy your state of emergency.....

LOL...All the snows this year have come after warm temps....so hardly anything sticks to the roads which is fine with me. I don't have to worry about all the grime on the road.

I live right near the NC border, so we tend to get the higher ends of the projected amounts. But it's crazy how all the storms follow the I-85 Corridor.

North of it and it's snowing....just south of it and it's rain. It's always been the dividing line in the upstate.

I enjoy to watch it fall, but not stay around. Early in my career, I worked for years in places in the NE and Canada that gave me my "fill" of big snowfalls. But they had the equipment to keep the roads clean.

I remember one year in Montreal, I woke up to almost 30". Went downstairs and had breakfast in the hotel lobby, walked outside and brushed off my rental, and drove right onto a clean street all the way to the job site.

I'm very happy winter has been almost non existent this year. Not just snow but also temperature wise. I already see buds on the trees. This morning it was 20 degrees with a wind chill of about 10. Going back to the 50s over the weekend. Come on Spring! Two weeks till clock change - YAY! I can't wait, I hate this dark early BS.

Happy Friday everyone!

No complaints about winter this year. We had a big snow storm on Remembrance Day, but pretty mild since then.....our Snowdrops and Achanites are coming up already....

Just come a little further south man! Didn't get any snow here last night. Just a lot of rain and wind. Solid bit of flooding as well. Had to redirect myself a few times heading home as my front lip only sit an inch or two off the ground. If I were to try to go through some of the flooded areas I'd look like a snow plow haha. Think it's suppose to be around 28 degrees tonight, bur, should be back in the 60s come sunday though

I love Charleston....but I'm sure I have mentioned that a few times. We go every year and have rented the same house for years. It's over not too far from the Wild Dunes Resort area and the Marina on the IOP side. So we usually rent a boat at least one day while there.

We have our usual hangouts such as Poe's tavern back on the Sullivan's Island side, and hit up various places in Mt. Pleasant.

It is prone to flooding....especially in the city. We usually make a trip to the market, hit up The Chophouse or Ruth's Chris.....and make a day out if that. The rest of the time we're on the beach during the day, and at Coconut Joe's for the live music in the evening.

My wife always hits up the cafe below Hyman's seafood where she drinks wine and hangs out with the cats.

Make sure to let me know next time you're coming down. I've been to a lot of the places you have mentioned, and have found a good bit of gems since moving. My brother lives downtown, and I'm there almost every weekend, so have gotten use to the flooding. Usually will take the fiances car as last time I destroyed my front lip exiting a garage that she forced me into parking in haha. Our wedding coming up is actually at Wild Dunes Resort, so I know exactly where you're talking about.

Because we had water fall out of the sky right before Christmas, and my son stopped in traffic but the semi behind didn't, I had to get a rental after I dropped the van off today

Get to Hertz and this is the last vehicle they have, and I'm stuck for at least 5 business days. First world problems
