If you somehow missed the message elsewhere, don’t forget to spring forward an hour and change your clocks today.

I can finally ride outside after work now. Time to shed some winter weight.

I had forgotten about it and it freaked me out late last night. Was working on some projects late and remember looking at the clock, "Shit, it's already 1:30??" Kept working a little to finish up and go to sleep and looked at the clock to see 3:15. Put me in a whirlwind thinking I'd somehow burned through almost two hours.

I was thinking about you. I hope your travel for the funeral wasn’t too bad.

Thanks. It all worked out fine. We drove up to Chicago the night before our flight, so we missed the worst of the snowstorm. The rest of the trip was hassle free. Mom is resting in peace with Dad now. Sad time, but that's how life works. You deal with it and move on.

Thanks for the reminder - at lest somebody is looking out for us. I don't think that they mentioned this even once during the morning 'news' - yet they rerun the same material about a dozen times, no excuse that they didn't have room for it. Makes me wonder if they are intentionally trying to f us all up? Perhaps they have just banished all truly factual information from their airwaves in favor of 'expert panel discussions'.

I wish we'd just move to this permanently. I understand the arguments on both sides, but personally I'd rather have more daylight in the later part of the day. I hate it when it's dark at 4:30PM when I get out of work.

That said, there are places I've lived (Germany) where it's still light at almost 10PM in the summer. I know that screws with the internal clocks of some folks.

I’d prefer standard time, but mostly would just like to just pick a time and leave it there, be it standard or daylight. It’s the 2 changes a year I have never liked. There will always be more sunlight during the summer than winter in the U.S. regardless of what we do with clocks.

I'm not looking forward to waking up at the time formerly known as 3:12 tomorrow morning or missing my train home because my internal clock isn't sync'd with the time to stop working 🤣. Not a big fan of this spring forward, it's not like the daylight isn't getting longer anyway

Why we cant just keep the time where it is now all year is what really pisses me off. I will be sleepy in the morning when the alarm wakes me up.

That’s fine by me, but now is actually the “fake time” and last week was the actual time.

My Saturday night DJ shift didn't feel like it was an hour shorter. Actually it was especially excruciating for some reason. It does screw people up when I'm calling a 15-minute warning to finish up their alcohol at 1:45AM. I had a full lineup so even though I was cutting songs short, most girls only got on stage twice.
