Decided to go with Brooklyn Grey - Matte PPF?
The order is in for the M50 and I decided to not go for either of the frozen options but opted to go with Brooklyn Grey w/ the Mocha Vernasca interior instead. Checked all selectable options. Was curious how Brooklyn Grey might look with a matte/stealth PPF. If anyone has seen it done (or better yet, have pics) I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on how it turned out. Thanks.

Not an i4, but there's a couple on the G8x forum
Here's an example with some good pics: https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...5&postcount=15 Honestly... I'm not a fan... I typically ignore it when people say BG (or nardo and other light to medium grays) look like primer, because I quite like it... same for those that say frozen/matte colors just look unfinished or aren't for them... but put those two things together, and I get where they're coming from.

I'm ordering Brooklyn Grey and plan on doing a matte ppf as well. Interested seeing what other pictures there are out there.

Yea, take a look at the M3. I thought I saw an i4 done like this on ******.com but can't find it.
If you like it, go for it! I personally don't like matte, I have a feeling it will be a fad that fades pretty fast. Your car will definitely stand out, it will be in the vast minority of cars that are matte. |

I did go for full merino leather because that's the only way to get a light brown color. Be prepared to wait. It's been painful. My original build week was week 21. No car yet.

My BG M2 G87 is getting a matt PPF and I just saw it WIP in-person. For a second I thought it was someone else's car getting primer'ed for a full body paint job I hope the gloss black roof and mirrors make it pop, though. |

The salesperson I'm working with at the local BMW dealership told me that April orders will be for 2025 model year cars. (BMW often begins selling new model year cars in July.) This is one of the top salespeople in the US so I'm thinking they know what they are talking about. If what they say is correct, how will that affect your order? I'm also thinking '25 i4 cars might improve range, change time, and even 0-60 times. (Audi just did all three with a mid-year refresh on the Q4.) I decided to wait a few months before placing an order for an i4.
