Wood Trim

I'm currently deciding on the wood trim I should pick. Which one is better (open pore or high gloss)?

I got the open pore and like it and receive good comments from people. Looks very natural and rich.

I like the open pore overall. They definitely show less fingerprints than say on piano black. I have it on my i4, it shows dust about the same as gloss, no more no less. If between the two woods I would say the open pore.

LOVED the open pore wood my M50 had. I wish my new iX had it. The piano gloss is a PITA!

Everyone had different favorites on this front. For me, open pore is by far my lease favorite of the options. Carbon Fiber is tops, followed by the aluminums and glossy dark wood.

For me it's Carbon Fibre all the way, followed by the Open Pore Wood and then Aluminium.

Not a fan of gloss wood on a BMW at all.

If you like less hairline / fine line scratches- open pore /matte is the way to go
