Can i3 move while charging?
Scenario: I get in my new i3 and try to drive off while it is still connected to the charger. Is this possible or is the car smart enough to prevent such idiocy?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

You cannot enable drive readiness (turn on the car) as long as the charge door is open.....

I once read a post by a guy who was charging his Model 3 in Kansas City (I think) super late at night, like 2 am, and was robbed. Some dude came up to his window with a gun, and since he was plugged in, he couldn't flee. I hadn't really thought about that kind of risk, as I always looked at it the way you posted: that it would prevent stupid actions by the driver.
I'm currently waiting for my new i3 to be delivered, but I think I remember that in my previous one, the car would also turn itself off as soon as you opened the door. I remember needing to move the car a little while the door was open but couldn't because it would turn off. Obviously a safety feature, but interesting that you can't override it intentionally. Or at least, I didn't know how.
