Interior Lights Stay On

Just spent an hour trying to figure out why my interior lights didn't go off after a few seconds. Read ENTIRE owners manual and all about holding the center button for 3 seconds to completely turn off overhead lights, but not what I wanted. Ran thru lighting settings, nothing. Then stumbled thru vehicle status and check my TPM while there. Then the next menu item said Check Control. It said Trunk Open! OMFG!

Well I RTF manual and nowhere mentioned that.

AND my truck has opened at least 4 times, only had it a month.

Lesson learned.

Trunk or "frunk", aka the front one.

My frunk is programmed to one of the key buttons, the keychain thing BMW put on my key is just the right size to push that button when in my pocket.

Quite a few times I have gotten into my car just to be warned that my frunk is open.
