Looking for i3 lease, 24 months, base model

Hello friends,

I have a 2018 M2 and would love to get an i3 to offset some of the mileage and wear and tear on my beloved M car.

I may be dreaming the impossible but I would like a 24 month lease on an i3 (no options needed) for under $200 with 10,000 annual miles. My local dealer said that is possible but only for a non REX and I would really love the REX for piece of mind.

Any thoughts?

The key reason for the REX (besides keeping my sanity and not worrying about running out of juice) is a 136 mile one way trip to visit the family. Sure, I can do it in the M2, but I would like to use the i3 from time to time.

do you need 10k miles on a second car? I only put like 3k on my Porsche every year.

I probably will put between 7-8k on the car per year, but I never thought to ask about a lower mileage lease than 10k. Is there much/any difference?

I was quoted $190, plus $1500 at signing, 24 month lease paid up in full.

That seems like a good deal.
Any dealerships in California want to offer me that deal with Extended range and Ill take it.

Me too. That quote was for a BEV, not Rex. If it was Rex,i would have the car in my garage now.

Call Mekenna out of norwalk, they are suppose to get some base models within the next 3 weeks or so. They might give you a deal close to that. I myself was looking for something similar to what you are.

I got lucky with a deal for under $200/mo including tax for a REx. It's a loaded executive demo and I maxed out the MSDs. You should also find the deals will get better towards the end of the year and into next year when they have 2018's left over they want to clear out for the '19s. Loyalty and fleet discounts should help as well.

Forgot to add. You need 30 months minimum lease for the state rebate here in CA. Check with your state for terms and income requirements. I kind of regret getting the REx now. I use it solely for my commute and the range of the new BEVs are more than enough. I also have a level 2 charger in my garage so I get a full charge everyday. The only time I've used the REx on my new i3 was when I forgot to plug in one night.

Lease in CA

What sort of terms do you think are possible for a 30 month lease in Cali? I keep hearing about all these ~200/mo leases, but when I go to dealers I can’t find anything lower than 350/mo with 2500 DAS.

If anyone has better offers here in Cali, please contact me! I’m trying to get in a vehicle in the next couple weeks, and might have to go with a Bolt =\

Here's the deal I got back in November:

MSRP: $52845
Selling Price: $47300 (10% off)
Monthly Payment: $202 including tax.
Cash Due at Signing: 1st month payment: $202, Registration and doc fee: $658, Tax on cap cost reduction and fees: $1,184. $3950 down payment minus post sale rebates: $1000 BMWCCA, $2500 State, $450 SCE = $0 net out of pocket for down payment
MSD:7 (Grandfathered from previous lease)
Incentives:$7500 Federal, $2000 Loyalty

Months:30
Annual Mileage: 10k
MF: 0.00182 (0.00147 after MSDs)
Residual: 61%

Region: CA
Leasehackr Score: 22.3

https://leasehackr.com/calculator?ma...es=10000&msd=7

The breakdown:
I negotiated 10% off MSRP
I used 7 MSDs to lower the MF
$7500 federal tax incentive applied as a cap reduction
$1000 loyalty incentive
I paid $1,184 drive-off for doc, reg, first month, and cap cost reduction tax
I paid $3950 to get the payments down fully expecting to get this money back in the $2500 state, $1000 BMWCCA, and $450 SCE rebates. I've since received all $3950 in rebates in the mail.

My monthly is actually $199 including tax because the lease calculators are never 100% right.

Man I'm jealous of some of these deals you guys are getting. I've been trying to pick up one of these with REX for my wife and my best quote thus far was $399 a month. Is it more advantageous to go 24 months rather than 36 on these?

You need at least 30 months to qualify for the California rebate program, so there's that to keep in mind.

What's the discount off MSRP?
Monthly payments are only a fraction of the story.
