Awesome! sounds like you need a switch and possibly some file servers, are they all for fun or work, or both?

i actually started using macs in 1996 in Mac OS 7 days.

this was my first mac

OS 7 and 8 were so bad, that i swore off not to touch another mac ever again and went all Slackware linux, skipping OS9 alltogether.

But i in January 2005 i went and bought a G4 Mac mini, on the day it became available in stores. 15" PowerBook shortly after that, then 1st generation 15" MacBook Pro, and now 1st generation 15" Unibody MacBook Pro.

G4 Mac mini is still alive and kicking it, and my kid uses it every day. I have another Intel mini perma-hooked up to my TV running Plex.

That, plus 4 iPods and on my 2nd iPhone

i guess i am a fanboy...

EDIT: Oh, and im using a hackintosh at work, because my boss is too cheap to buy me a mac mini, i've been asking for...
Nice, yeah mac became concrete when osx dropped, before they were good but suffered from problems because they didnt know the direction, plus steve jobs had to come to the company (next)

3GS is the biggest upgrade IMO. The speed and extra ram alone is worth the upgrade. You can actually browse bimmerpost in safari without feeling like it's taking forever. I used to stay away from forums on my 3G.

I have 2 Macbooks, 1 20in iMac, Airport Extreme router, AppleTV, iPod Touch, iPhone 3G, iPod Shuffle and one wireless Mighty Mouse.

Also love all the software: iWork 09, iLife 09, Aperture 2, and Mobile Me

oh yeah, I also have Apple stock

Apple FTW!

got my first one in 2005.

Converted my whole family to Mac and countless number of friends...and not one has complained

It feels good not having to reformat my comp every couple of months!

After my first laptop crapped out, I bought a MacBook. I gave that to my mom last summer and got an iMac for myself. Throw in 3-4 iPods also. I would have an iPhone if it was offered on Verizon. Wait, actually I'd still have my Blackberry, lol.

Huge Mac fan here...Im currently working in Baghdad and I got approved to order some goodies

Work - MacPro 16GB Ram

Room (Here in Baghdad) - MBP 15", 1TB TimeCapsule, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch, Shuffle

Home (Stateside) - Waiting on refresh for 24" imac, and will order MacPro to use as my media/storage/backups/website/training/ system

Windows is cool but Vista = garbage. Windows 7 is very nice though. Will never go back to PC again...

after you use a 3GS, the 3G (and esp the edge) seem SOOOO slow

the 3G has about 50-70 ram max, the 3GS has about 150 fresh

the edge has about 40.. .

Life long Apple user. First one was an IIC.

I bought a Sony VAIO PC once, and hated it. I have to use PCs at work, and hate it.

Macbook Pro 15" is the latest. iPhone 3G as well

edit, just saw comment about BB, I believe iphone does have its problems, but what about the BB keeps you from moving to the iphone? and please don't say keyboard, because beleive it or not, its actually much quicker.
the bb has it's own network that allows you to communicate with others who also have a BB. BB>iPhone from any stand point other than browsing.

and btw. WAJAJAJAJAJAJJAJAJAJAJAJA

Although apple did offered me a new one, but i didn't want to bother with it because i need it for my school work and didn't want to risk it shitting on me again. I now have a HP which I'm pretty happy with although it doesn't look "cool" it doesn't freeze on me at least.

So having a closed network is better than the open network people call the internet? The only thing the BB > iPhone is with email and that's debatable with the latest iPhone OS. The iPhone has tons of quality software (of course mixed with even more crapware) available which makes it viable as a computer replacement especially when you are on the go. I can see the BB being a better business tool with all the support in that field, but to say it's a better device than the iPhone is pretty ridiculous, IMO. Blackberry is the Windows of the mobile device arena.
