Cruise control disengage on bad road

Has any else experienced the cruise control disengaging at highway speeds if going over a really bad section of road?

I have this section of road where it will always turn off and ding when going over it as the car is jostled.

It has happened to me in other BMWs too, not sure if it was in the i8 also.....

Bad road, slipping in snow, anything that results in engagement of the safety system will automatically turn cruise control off.
