I'm sick of Carly, first you could use with any adapter, then starting with Fx cars they require their adapter, hooked up Carly to see if I could up gas fill to 2.4 and unlock REX menu and it wasnt there. Was using the latest old app, dk if the new app has it, but it just came out didnt think it had any new features yet. Plus now theres another upcharge for some iDrive coding.

Friend did everything I needed with Bimmercode this weekend.

Someone has to find a way to code to unlocked extra power from the new 2018 S model for non-S models. From realoem.com the rex engine, electric engine, and battery packs are the same although that could be wrong. If not wrong, it should be able to figured out and unlocked / coded to the ECUs.

LOL "perf chipping" an i3... how about; Sport+, Sport, Comfort, Eco Pro, and Eco Pro+ modes

Perhaps the "S" model is more suspension and handling, havent read anything on it but aware an "S" is coming.

Lol I got the S

It's night and day honestly
Acceleration wise it's same by numbers but feels faster cause there is no lag, but suspension is 100 times better!!

I have i3 and I3s parked outside need to do a head to head test

Ps
There is a sport mode on it lol

Ecu Board Display Control locked

Hello everybody.
I'm leaving in Belgium. I'm the owner of a Bmw I3 2015with Rex. I'm very happy of my car and won't go back to a thermic car.

My i3 has been recalled by BMW for both reasons. Fist : update of the electronic box, Second : for the Rex (verification of the installation). It is an official recall from Bmw Munich.

I already have coded my car with bimmercode and iCar. But since this update, I can't modify the Ecu BDC. It seems locked. After initializing, all Ecu are green but the BDC stays in grey.
I can't do nothing. I'm desesperate. Does anybody know what's the problem ? I've the last bimmercode version downloaded 3 days ago. I can modify others Ecu. My iCar is in order. I don't know ??

I'm joining screen's captures

Let's take up a collection as a reward to the first 2018 i3s owner who will let someone knowledgeable go exploring into his coding options and see what's new and possibly available!

I can't speak for "bimmercode", but the proper BMW e-Sys coding requires periodic updates of PSDzdata configuration files. Especially, after a new version was download to the car at the dealership.

Sorry about [deletethis] insert - this forum is jealous of external links, and garbles them up.
