Picked up a SS system for my 94 325is as the original system was shot. That was the best deal I've seen around!

Same shit every year - vendor "deals" are nothing to consider for Black Friday (if ever, save for the annual Apex group buys). Better off with eBay coupons

That was a spectacular promotion and so many people jumped on it. That was probably the only standout/shut-up-and-take-my-money sale I have ever seen in my 12 years of buying stuff for BMWs.

If any vendors are offering any pre-BF deals so we can spend BF installing the parts... here are some things members are looking for: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1549232

I did a DCT service last week. It's not as exciting as cool looking or go-fast parts. Blah.

It was forced upon me by a leaking gasket

This is really just a reply to subscribe to this thread... I need a bunch of crap.

ECS did a seriously shade deal on their Milltek exhaust last year. "Scratch and Dent" for around $700 but charged $450 for shipping. A $5k exhaust system was like $25 shipping. I even emailed and asked about the ridiculous shipping and they stated it was to recoup costs. So for those that see a too good to be true deal, look at the shipping, cause you might be F'ed after the sale.

Yeah my experience with ECS has been weird. I bought a part they lied about on their website, they did offer to take it back but i had to print a return label and whatnot. I said I'd keep it then asked if they intended to correct the info on the website. No reply. Website isn't fixed.

Anyone in the know of whether the main vendors on here are offering any good Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals for parts or accessories? I've got a few maintenance items on my list, and I'm all for saving a few bucks by waiting until this weekend to order.
ECSTuning
FCP Euro
TurnerMotorsport
Tiago@VRSF
mike@x-ph.com (my phone doesn't wanna let me properly tag this one)
etc.

If anything, rather than searching through multiple vendor posts to try to find deals, having a centralized thread with people posting what they find can be more efficient and streamlined?

*I hope this isn't in violation of any forum rules.

Forum rules do not allow sponsors to post prices outside of Classifieds as I understand it.

Do you think we will see an eBay special discount this coming week?

(10-20% off, up to $100 savings)

As I have noted, the frequent 15% - 20% discounts started in mass at the beginning of Q4 2017. I openly wondered how long these would continue.

The last 15% off was now over 50 days ago at the end of Q3 - which is the longest gap since the discounts starting in mass at the beginning of Q4 2017.

The last 20% was now almost 6 months ago from early June 2018.

The 10% were few and far between - and thus far the only discount offered (in October) since the September 15% discount.

It is my personal belief that eBay is experimenting with different methods to see what spurs sales at the lowest cost to them (as they should), such as more additional 10% eBay Bucks bonus forcing future purchases instead.

Note the 10% was good for 24 hours where other higher discounts have been much shorter in term.

However, I would also note eBay did a 10% discount on 11/29/2017 last year (which was the Wednesday after Black Friday).

But I fear frequent days of the deep discounts might have disappeared given how infrequent they are now compared to earlier this year (at one point averaging every 10 days).

Given the frequent comments on forums about waiting until next discount day or asking why anyone would buy outside of these days, I am sure eBay has taken note of the same.

They did last year, but only for later model years with NBT. I do not remember which MY you have and it’s not on your profile.

It comes down to how the options are listed on your VIN, regardless if there is any functional difference.

Total BS.

Bimmerworld resonated x pipe $847 shipped. To buy or not to buy? I think it will sound very exotic with my Corsa cat back VS my current test pipe setup...
