yeah i was very surprised on the total weight loss, it was just coming off like crazy..i felt good, wasnt tired, etc. i had my total calorie intake @ 1900 a day w/5 small meals...the first 2-3 weeks of the diet were the hardest...if i were starting to get the urge to eat. i would slug some water took it right away. after that initial 2-3 weeks i felt like i was forcing food down my throat! over all i was very happy...right now i am doing a combo of p90x cardio and TRX training!!

Damn, you guys are a true inspiration!!! I was hoping to start on Sunday, but a sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago and it hasn't fully healed!!! I seriously need to get back in shape cuz my work uniforms are a little too tight now and don't feel like spending a couple hundred bux a new ones Hahaha

yeah man, doooo it! you can at least do the M, W, and maybe F workouts with your ankle while it heals (weight lifting days), but i prob wouldn't do plyo or kenpo with it. would prob serve as a good warm-up/adjustment period at the very least. it does get addicting and that's one of the reasons i like it. 6 days does require a committment, but in doing so, there are no 2-3 rest day periods that can lead to 4-5+ days and then possibly falling off the wagon...if that makes sense. you get into it, and you keep going. i feel great so far and look forward to coming home and working out.

just make sure you incorporate some extra cardio with your P90x you will be much happier with the end result...even if its a brisk walk your still getting something

So my ankle is still bothering me somewhat, but I'm going on vacation in two months and there's no time to waste!

Gonna try something new, McMuffin90X workout It's gonna consist of all the cardio vids and lifting at the gym two days out of the week.

Thinking of: Plyo-ab ripper, gym, Kenpo-ab ripper, gym, Cardio X-ab ripper.

I am still doing it as much as I can...time at the moment is in short supply due to the uptempo at work right now. Still I try to do something 3-4 times a week.

Is p90x any good for gaining mass? I know about diet and used to be in great shape, but won't be able to get to a gym for the next several weeks and was going to do p90x. I haven't really worked out in about 2 months and have slumped off a good bit, going from 160lbs with about 10%bf to 153lbs 15%bf due to a high metabolism and bad diet. Will p90x and good diet help me put the weight back on or is it more of a cutting routine?

This P90x thing must be a US thing, I've trained for years and never heard of it here in the UK.

So its some kinda plan that uses bands for training?

Bands are an option.. but I have been using P90X for a couple of years now and have never used a band. Plenty of weights, though.

you will lose a lot of fat, however if you wanna gain mass while doing p90 just add heavier weight and lower reps like any other workout
