I'm still adding things 😉
It gets too windy around here in December so I can't even put up my 12ft Santa or Frosty. 😔
So I went and got a 6ft inflatable Santa. 🎅
I am also adding decorations to a custom and stunning Christmas Wreath that I will put up Friday after Thanksgiving...

The blow shit is awesome. Get them at the end of the season for like $30 and they REALLY look good when on. Best of all, storage is minimal to nothing.

Only issue is the fuckers fly about so for the big pones, like say more than 6 feet (I have one at 12 feet), i screw the base into a 2 x 2 piece of plywood then put concrete block on the plywood. Fucker goes nowhere with this method and saves you futsing around with the stupid strings.

That's no problem, as long as the lights are not turned on until after Thanksgiving.

Yeah I put mine up a few weeks ago, it's just too cold to do it now without gloves and with gloves is a horrible experience.

Bah humbug!

My post was in response to another where one person seemed to be challenging another about his claim that his house was too big…. I love Christmas lights.

One of your neighbors has to have a ladder that will get up there (I do but my neighbors never ask me for shit haha)

Here is a new collage wall with drawings my wife did along with our tree (and new puppy for good measure)

Well I definitely feel you on not getting up on the roof.
I buy my lights, cords and Hooks and pay for installation.
My cost around here is $200 for install and removal. Well worth it. What kind of estimate ls you getting?
