I used UK and Canada's configurators to get some idea and my build is similar to urs, still not sure about the external color either grey or white as for 4.0 we won't be getting them at least in the fist pass btw is the Amido leather? looks to be but I'm not too sure

Also, what has BMW said to you, if anything, about decontenting due chip shortages. Here, I saw 2022 X5s built in South Carolina with credits on the window sticker for missing features like lumbar support. The amounts were laughable: US$80 for a feature that's in a package that with required prerequisites costs $1500.

most likely I won't be getting grey now as for the Amido, check Canada's configurator (looks to be black/grayish leather)

I preordered the iX last week. My local dealership contacted me that they received notification of my preorder from BMW and they will reach out to me when I can build it. I'm also interested in the Mercedes EQS SUV when it comes to market (at least a year away) but the more reviews I watched of the iX on YouTube, the more I think it may be our next car purchase.

I'm still not sure what exterior/interior colors I will end up ordering. I'm leaning toward the Aventurin Red but I also like it in Alpine White and Phytonic Blue.

Ordered iX xDrive40 in fairly basic trim as it's a company car (luckily alot of options come by default).
- Blue Ridge Mountain - Red/Brown leather - Shadowline No production date as of yet. |

I did preorder, pretty early, but won't be buying iX. I wonder if someone could take over my slot, otherwise I'll get get my deposit back.

Basically grocery carrier with fashion statement. I dont see any advantage over, say, Tesla X. But even then, trunk is not big enough for a Costco run. Will go with X5 M50. Before they ban it.

When my iX comes in I'll sell you my 2019 X7. It has lots of buttons, plenty of seat adjustments, and a big trunk. Oh, but no spare tire since all BMW SAV's come standard with run-flats. |

Yes, exactly, X3 is small. I should have snatched X5 with offroad package where it was available. X5 does come with spare which I actually need because my SUVs DO go to forest roads and transport several bicycles. Good luck finding replacement for cut RFT somewhere in MT. Besides, my recent visits to Idaho trails and home rentals in Olympic Peninsula showed that there are NO chargers outside of cities/suburbs and major highways. And no, I do not need to drive to work. And I owned Tesla S so I know what does it mean 'no buttons'.

Tesla Model S, now there's a real exciting interior
I test drove a Tesla Model Y yesterday, it rides like a log wagon and was a bit noisy. Loved the power and the feel of the one-pedal driving but not much else. Having to reach for the iPad to do simply things is annoying. But for those that want simplicity, it's your money. |

No word from my dealer, though I have received a couple of BMWNA emails which reference the mid November timeframe to configure the car.
That's consistent with what we've heard about the launch of the online configurator. I wonder how deliveries are progressing in Europe....?!? |
