Reuters quoting Marko as telling Austria’s OE24 website: “It wasn’t meant that way. I meant that a Mexican has a different mentality than a German or a Dutchman. But who knows, maybe it’s controlled.”

Marko issued a statement apologizing over the weekend and Perez says he has spoken to the 80-year-old, and that there are no lingering issues between the two.

Ricciardo is present in the AT box but according to Horner is unlikely to compete until after Japan and even that is not definite.

Max and Checo are having a few small problems which are completely normal for a Friday, just caught what I thought Max saying a little too much u/steer and gear change delay. Checo is sporting a special helmet for his 250th F1 GP.

Strange that Ferrari were figuring they'd be struggling here so what's obvious is that there's some sandbagging going on and possibly with some of the others also.
