All of the damn time. They purposely try to antagonize us while we're on traffic stops, and any time we have a critical incident, they push the issue with the yellow tape.

Yes they do that as well. There's a guy named "Ricky Monday" who is a prominent 1st Amendment/felon in my patrol area who does exactly that. He rides by a brick wall next to the station with his camera on a stick and does anything he can to provoke.

Basically they purposely insert themselves into investigations or instigate things to try to elicit reactions from law enforcement. It's the kind of people who want to stir things up and who have too much time on their hands; the kind of people who walk up to yellow crime scene tape and start calling officers names, saying they had sex with the officer's wife, etc…..anything to try to provoke.

We have a military base as well as the secured PD. They show up, film in a provocative way, then complain and challenge legal order on film

Stop assaulting me, what is your legal source of probable cause, etc

The last major one we had was a minor, some guy drives him across state lines, and after being detained his grandma shows and takes him home. She is fully supportive of his efforts to expose the fascist

Ahh, thanks Sedan_Clan & UncleWede . I figured that's what it was, but wanted to be sure. Definitely never saw that in the South growing up, nor do I think I would see that in Florida now

Yes, way too much time on their hands. However, take it as a compliment rather than a nuisance. Let me explain:

They would rather be around police officers than anyone else. You’re popular!

They are looking after your well-being insuring that you’re ok.

Being that they want to be around police officers, they know you’ll protect them if danger approaches them from any direction.

Maybe they need someone to ‘talk’ to. Maybe they aren’t heard at home.

Gotta try to look at things as a half glass full approach

There are tons of videos on youtube from the 1A people. Some of it is funny, most is cringy.

And then there are the sovereign citizens who believe that laws don't apply to them. This guy, Donut Operator, is a former cop who does breakdowns of police videos, including the sovereign citizen stuff. I think it is hilarious.

I've done a number of death investigations in federal prisons, and as a result have friends who work inside, this is a huge problem in Canada, men now identifying as women and getting sent to women's prisons. We have lost the plot.

It's all on the down low. There has been a few media reports but they are sparse for the most part. The fact is though that since these trans inmates have arrived they all seem to be lesbians and then the predictable shit happens, domestics, sexual assaults etc. It's a real shit show.
