Just got my i8!
Hey everyone! Finally pulled the trigger on my I8. I believe i got the deal of the century. 2015 bmw i8 $64,995 CPO 9,700 miles one car owner. From what i researched, comparable i8s go for $70,000+ Sticker price was $148,750. It was a deal I could not pass up. Driving the car today was incredible. The attention this car brought was insane, the car drives so smooth and feel so spacious inside. Would love to see everyone’s i8s! Here’s mine!

Yes, from my research being in the market myself, you saved nearly 10 percent, which is very strong considering you dealt directly with a dealer on a high sticker, low mileage example. Congratulations - enjoy!

Cal, i have warranty until August 12th, 2021. They also gave me a maintenance package that ends August 12th, 2021. I couldn’t believe it. Pretty much what happened was.. they knew i was in the market for an i8 and they texted me when it came off a local lease. I asked them how much the price was and they told me $64,995. So i told them i would be there Monday to check it out. Then i called them again and he told me it was $70,000. The general manager gave me the wrong price and he said “under his policy” he has to give it to me what he put in writing at $64,995. So they kind of screwed themselves on it.

Perhaps so.. but i think the reason why they did honor it is because it was the General Manager that told me that. |

Looks great, definitely a good deal. I just paid $67k for a CPO 2015 Protonic Blue with 15k miles, so definitely priced to sell.
For what it's worth, the front tires are on the wrong sides. Can't see the rear to see if they are correct, but some of the OEM rims are directional and those are on backwards. |

I had been looking daily for 2 months, probably spoken to at least 8-10 different dealers or private parties. I was fairly strict, I only wanted protonic blue with the pure impulse grey interior. I also was willing to pay a little more for better condition/lower mileage and some warranty left. Every day I checked autotrader, cars.com, eBay, and CarGurus. You can save searches and have them email you if any new cars matching your criteria become available. It only takes a couple minutes every night to check them all if you save the searches in your browser. If you're looking for a protonic blue, I've got a couple good ones I can point you towards.
