BMW Connected app FUBAR. AGAIN!

I swear. This ridiculous app is such a pile of Sh*t.
It's dead. Again.
Last time it was down for over two weeks.
Reinstalled and now it shows NOTHING.

I'd fire all the developers and start over.
So frustrating.

Did you update the app? An update came out a couple days ago and now it works again for me. The previous update a week ago broke it.

I did. And reinstalled twice. Still not showing charge status, mileage or any other car info. It's such shockingly terrible software.

I called BMW about it.
Get this...they said "there is a rolling server update that is causing the app to not get car data. If it last longer than A FEW WEEKS, PLEASE CALL BACK AND WE'LL LOG A REPORT.

I mean..WHAT?

Can you think of any other software company who might tell you this?

Really? So why did it work on the i-remote app when it was available but not on connected at the same time? Different servers for each app?

Couldn't agree more. The BMW Connected is probably the most frustrating aspect of the i-cars. I still use the i-Remote App which is no longer supported and no longer available for download, but still works better than the Connected App.
It is just a matter of time before we all find our cars unlocked (worldwide) because a 10-year-old has hacked this POS.

I can't use the i-remote anymore. It kicks me out and tells me to use connected!😡

At this point, I'm inclined to believe that if there the most counter intuitive way to set up the system, that's probably how it's set up.

The software sucks.
But it was the remorseless customer service representatives handling of it that set me off. "...in the next few weeks??? What?
