Interesting.
A few specs: each unit weighs under 74lbs the DC fast charge module that sits up top is 51 lbs each are 3.5kWh in usable capacity Using the EPA range for the i4 M50 19" model, this will bring the following: Package 1 = 24 miles of range (199 lbs) Package 2 = 35 mile of range (273 lbs) Package 3 = 47 miles of range (347lbs) It's slightly heavy, but perhaps this would be a better usage of solid-state batteries since scalability appears to be an issue with them currently? That could in theory reduce the weight of them by virtue of higher kWh/size.

I think this is sooo counterintuitive to being green. How do they get the packs out to you?...hmm via vehicle. They give you 50miles of range per charge...lol!
If they were an emergency service to get you going when stranded it would make more sense...but they're not. If I were an investor...I wouldn't in this case! |
