Show off your i4 official configuration images and videos here!
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Here it's mine, which I ordered today, though I will very, very likely make changes to the interior and maybe the exterior. I hope I can get Ivory white from BMW Individual before the car goes into production, and maybe I change the color to Brooklyn grey. If that's the case, I'd change the seats to the M-Sport seats in black, or Individual black, not sure yet. All pics and videos can be seen here: https://webfrontend.evecp.bmw.cloud/259556a (link valid through Jan. 2022) And this is the one from someone on Facebook (Brooklyn Grey): https://webfrontend.evecp.bmw.cloud/3c8c984 One with ventilated seats: https://webfrontend.evecp.bmw.cloud/5e02208 --

Neat. Love how they were able to superimpose your house in that image too

I could configure the same wheels if I wanted to, but the configurator shows that they eat 80Kms/50 miles of range if you choose them vs the 19's, so I'll stick to 19's this time around.

I can definitely get behind the i4 in this guise. The grille still isn't my favorite but if you get the car in a dark color with a dark grille it's palatable and much, much less ridiculous that other cars in the BMW lineup. Overall I'm a fan, I'd seriously consider this in a few years after I'm done with my F30.

That was relatively easy actually. At some point, I considered going the crossover/SUV route, so I tested the fat e-Tron. Conclusion: it feels like you were driving a boat, the infotainment system is nowhere near as good as iDrive 7, it's very expensive, very inefficient, and it's too big. When I learned that the Q4 feels the same, on top of that feels cheap inside, and I saw it in person and realized it is as ugly as in the pictures, there was not even a decision left for me to take.
Personally, it was always about being so impressed by other cars in this price range that I would not choose BMW this time. But I see that's actually not so easy to achieve. Tesla, to me, it's a phone with a very good battery and wheels, not a car, so I'll never voluntarily get one.

Nope, only permanently visible on the lower part of the screen, unfortunately.

Somebody who could sit in a iX said (on a german forum) that it's possible to get the favorite "buttons" on the screen via the iDrive controller, like accessing shortcuts. Also, the A/C can apparently be controlled via the iDrive controller as well, no touching needed.
So not great, but not all hope is lost. |
