I know most of you guys already ordered but i'm number 4 on the wait list from my local BWM for the 2015 i8. The manager told me he has not yet received any idea of how many allocations he will get or when it will be announced. They are obviously more worried about the first deliveries. Does anyone have any idea about the 2015 production date, delivery, or allocations for dealers?

The dealership I work for has 2 available currently, one in crystal white and sophisto grey, that just opened up. The dealerships in my area have sold almost all of them in the 75k range and as much as 250k over sticker! Right now its a free for all (whoever puts their deposit in first), and they are expected here in less then a month. They are asking 75k over currently. If anyone is interested PM me and I can send build sheets of the current ones, they just opened them yesterday so they will definitely have deposits in soon I would suspect.

You'll definitely get yours next year unless your buying from a TINY dealer. EVERY dealership is recieving 1 i8 in Q1. Q2, Q3, and Q4 are dependent on previous Quarter 6/7 sales. It'd be surprising if they didn't get another for the remainder of the year.

My advice is sit tight and be excited knowing that you'll have yours in 2015.

Just saw this at BMW of South Atlanta. Was pre-sold to another customer (and stored in a locked back room), but wow! Reconsidering if my next car will be a 911....
