Vegas is on such a historical run that there is no reason for them to not make the playoffs at this point. The teams in the Pacific are now starting to line up in a typical way with a dogfight between the CA teams. Calgary is in it as well but Vegas is an anomaly.

Considering that arguably Tampa is the best team in the Nhl with a ton of skill, Vegas (counting OT losses) is tied with them for fewest losses. And since the beginning of the season, like Tampa, they have not turned back and shuffled around like all the rest of the teams. That metro division is weak with the number one team (Wash) ranked 9th of total teams.

Almost a nice comeback.. but the ice is melting cause the birds are still hot

Sometimes there is a game that is just pure disappointment--last night was case in point with Sharks and Vegas.

1. Sharks played great yet Jones should have had the last two goals. They were straight shots but got five hole. Nice hard shots, but goalies that win cups stop those.

2. The refs missed obvious penalties--I only saw the third period but I saw an obvious trip on Hertyl. It was right in front of them and obvious. How they call an obvious one on the Sharks a few minutes before and not that....the announcers said there were a couple earlier in the game as well.

I don't like to blame officiating, but when your playing a top team and it is close, bad calls (when it's obvious) just tip the ice. Yeah, great teams get past adversity, but it just is the kind off loss that is annoying as hell.

Sydney Crosby hit 400th goal mark as Pittsburgh Penguins defeated San Louis Blues 4-1 , it was a superb performance by the visitors considering 4 goals in a row from trailing

i Stopped watching after we went down 3-0 lol.

that trade seems like a semi-desperate move to get us into the playoffs, trading young talent for experience, but i'm sort of ok with it.

Pens tonite! Probably gonna lose as they've turned it up a notch recently.

Definitely an upgrade over Neuvy.

Hexy got Detroit to retain half the salary. He's not done yet..... We got some cap space to spend.

Praying for Karlson or Tavares

Phaneuf has been putting in some goals. There were some frantic moments in the 3rd last night, couldn't believe how poorly the B-Hawks seemed to play the first 2 periods.

Brassard just filled the center role for Penguins 3rd line.

Pens 3rd line (Kessel Brassard Guentzel) > just about every 2nd line in the NHL (Pens included).

Apparently we're going old school. " You may score 5 on us...but we're looking to score 6".

Must be more to come with this, as he wouldn't fit in the salary cap???

AND....the NHL just blocked the trade. Looks like Pens are working with VGK to get this deal completed.

Our offense would be waaayyy stacked. With that, we just found two yutz in our system that are playing like Rust, Sheary, and Gentzel did over the past couple cup runs. This goes through, scoring should not be an issue.
