Weird (to me) deletions
I am looking at an iX M60. The equipment list has deleted:
1. Passenger lumbar; and 2. Hands free tailgate operation. I've seen some people here say they deleted some items for special orders. Can you all weigh in on why someone would delete either of these. Thanks. |

Purchasers didn't delete them - BMW deleted them on some earlier models because of parts shortages. Recent M60 models (2023>) have them restored. Also deleted - air suspension on the iX50, now available as an option, and Integrated Active Steering (now available only on the M60). The interior camera was also deleted on some M60 models, and most recently one USB-C port from each front seat back. You might do a forum search for more information, or just do a build on the online configurator to see what's there and what's not currently. You also didn't specify MY on your M60 - that obviously makes a difference. But to answer your initial question, the deletions you mention were by BMW, not someone ordering the car, and were during a specific time period in 2022.

My ‘23 iX M60 came with the interior camera delete and the passenger lumbar delete. No way to add them now.
