Multiple Services Needed
I just received a notification on the MyBMW app “ Multiple Services Needed.” The car was parked for about 2.5 hours and had been charging for 45 minutes. The services are break fluid and and vehicle check. It drove fine on my way home—about 18 miles. It has just under 2000 miles. I just upgraded the app the other day.
Anyone else experience something similar. Can I drive this thing. I am planning to take it on a long drive tomorrow. |

Definitely dealer check for diagnostics - over 5k miles here and no service alerts.

See if it goes away. Mine did that a few months ago and it just went away. Think it was a bug in the app.

You shouldn't need a brake fluid change until your second year in service. I would just check the fluid level to make sure you're not low and see if the message goes away. That is, unless you're coming up on your two year anniversary. Brake fluid is hygroscopic so the need to replace it is time based and the amount of miles driven is less important under normal driving conditions.

I have not had a My BMW app update in a while (I do not have my iPhone set to auto update, as I like to manually control when and what apps get updated). Danke schön : |

^Yep, this. It also shows the build number, which sometimes changes without a version change (also found under Device permissions in Settings). I have the Android version, but I assume iOS is synchronous. Interestingly, there doesn't appear to be an "Update" option anywhere in the app, so for manual updates I've always gone to the Play Store to check.
