Can you re-enable Points of Interest in iDrive Navigation?

We have a 2017 X5 with iDrive 6, that recently stopped understanding points of interest commands in the navigation. Where we used to be able to say "BMW of Grapevine" and it find it, we now can only say the actual address for it to understand and start navigation. The prompt when opening navigation has changed as well.

When I asked the dealership what may have changed, they said that some service that is enabled on the car new, expires after 4 years, with no warning, and according to them, no way to re-enable it, unless I was the original owner or it was a CPO.

Has anyone figured out how to re-enable this feature, after the 4 year mark of the vehicle?

Thanks in advance!

Assuming this is due to BMW Online expiring you should be able to go to the BMWUSA Website and sign into your account and renew the service or call BMW ConnectedDrive and do it over the phone.
