When you use the rig how long is a session? Do you play for two-hours at a sitting ?

For a rig that moves around like that I'm pretty sure it'll cost 5-10k+

I'm a bit surprised to not see more people either use VR in addition to or completely swap out their monitor setup for it. It adds a whole other level of realism. Just being able to look through corners like you would in real life is such a difference.

From what I have seen, it's tricky to get the VR to be jitter free, some have significant lag issues. And many get motion sick during long races.
I have a triple monitor setup that is curved and the visibility is great. On iRacing it seems that more members use the monitors than VR. The three monitors are actually more expensive as well, plus stand, etc, so it's certainly not an economic decision. 🤔
But to each their own.

Nice!

Martin Logan haven't seen that name in forever.

I really like how you tie wrapped the monitor brick to the rig, I'm going to steal that idea and tie wrap mine to the monitor arm and get it off the floor.

I would have expected the power strip to be completely filled w/plugs

From what I have read the resolution and speed are not where they need to be yet.

I've got VR and a super ultra wide (G9). I prefer the G9. VR is incredible, but the convenience of being able to see buttons, keyboard, my drink and not sweat in the VR headset... well I just prefer that.

Also when I drive, I take advantage of my peripheral vision, which VR still has a ways to go. Yes, you can turn your head, but in real life I'd never turn my head as much as is required with VR.
