honestly in order to lose weight around the stomach, you need to lose weight. Or better yet, lose BODY FAT, good luck with that bro its not a joke. The bottom abs are the hardest to get...

Run....a lot. Eat a healthy diet and lower ab exercises. A lot of that is genetics too.

To the 2 above me you are both right....

You need to do HIIT cardio, you need to get on a right diet(more protein intake) keep in mind you need to feed your muscles abs are muscles, but your genetics play a HUGE role also. Im almost starting to get my top 4. Low ones are a bitchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

some people dont understand though, a lot of people you see that have abs are genetic and just the way there body is, there is a few that worked there balls sack offfffff to get it, definately not a joke to get it. your body fat better be around 10 or 11 or lower so itll show.

LOL it's funny because I used to be a cruel kid in high school. But ever since I started fighting 6 months ago, I've been a lot more calm. I'm eagerly waiting to put take another picture on Aug 24th to mark a full year.

This forum has been a great help too, primary BoostedBMW. Thanks Mike!

Now I'm working on the abs and being more defined all around. Waiting 2 more hrs before hitting the gym.
I'm glad I could help you out bro!

Exactly 6 months apart, Aug 24th and Feb 24th respectively. I had only started lifting on Jan 12th so most, if not all, of the difference is from eating clean (for the most part) and strength training. Since the picture on the right, I've gained a bit of definition. Lastly, this is just from changing my eating habit and working hard..no pills or supplements at all.

Left side...210 lbs and right is ~155 lbs.

I'm now thinking of training for the L.A. Marathon in 2010.
WOW... great progress, but now I think we need to get you on a bulk diet pretty soon.

BTW, I'm on my last week of cutting... down to just under 160@9%bf, but instead of looking to get shredded for summer I'm gonna focus on putting on some more mass now and start bulking again (next week I'll eat at maintenance and then start upping cals the week after). I love looking lean, but I need to put on some more mass. I'm thinking of trying Layne Norton's approach with 6-8 weeks of bulking followed by 2 weeks of cutting instead of doing 6 month bulks followed by 2 month cuts. I'll keep you posted on how it works out.

Hey Mike, I don't know if I want to bulk up too much. I'm not trying to go for a body builder frame, but a more 'leaner' fit...kinda like Kobe Bryant or the 2 main characters from "Never Back Down", lol.

thats funny.. I think if you do 12 reps of each exercise and a lot of cardio you'll get a body like that.. and of course a strict diet

I want a Tyler Durden body but that shit is impossible

If you want to lose weight, I highly recommend watch what you eat. It really depends on the individual so I can't exactly recommend certain foods. You have to experiment with a variety of foods. But I highly recommend focusing on fruits and vegetables, fish, and your grains, nuts, and cereals first.

FYI: when I drink V8 vegetable drink, it makes to GAIN weight. WEIRD, but true. But that's only for me.
