As I pull up to park at a local fast food business, I see a 09 CTSv parked in the next space. I notice the motor is running and there is nobody inside except some yip-yap dog.

I go inside and pretty much instantly identify the owner (sitting there eating - while his car cools his lame dog with 77 degree outside temps and humidity <30percent ). He has a shirt on that has corvette logo on the upper left. I order my lunch and then ask him if that is his car. He said yeah. I said I have a BMW 335 with a little extra boost. Probably about 114-115 and maybe mid 12 car. He said yeah, his car was good for 126 in the traps (I dont think he was talking modded). I tried not to make much of a gesture.. I just said yeah, it depends on whos driving and how hard they are beating on it. On the way out I look and notice it is an auto. I need to keep my eyes peeled for this guy around town.

while 126 seems a bit high, i'm sure he can get close. those new cts-v's are no joke. my buddy has one, i've driven it, and it's pretty insanely fast.

took my cars to track tonight and guess what was there? Two 09 CTS-Vs. One was a manual and the other a auto..they ran 12.3@121 (manual) and 12.4@120 (auto) when I was watching. I also got to run one in my bmw 335--I told them I have a V on order and they obliged with a race--that sucker is fast!!!! here is my 335 getting spanked by the V 12.4@120 to my 12.7@110 (we actually crossed the finish line at same time, but he was in the process of BLOWIN by me)

Just for clarity (if its required you know the intricate details). I didn't tell him how bad mine was. I said, nice car. And then gave him a point of reference for my car. I also said that they are building cars faster and faster now days. And at somepoint it would have to cease.

well calm on... "lame dog"? this guy is just trying to eat his lunch mind his own business when some random guy says "my car has some extra boost"

usually when i approach people about cars, i dont act like im on the show pinks and say oh yeah i run this in quarter mile blah blah blah. usually i would just be mellow and be like "thats a really nice car, what do you think you do in the quarter mile? blah blah blah"

However those CTSV's can probably run that fast. 550hp or some rediculous amount? Sooooo badass. Hoping to get myself the DI CTS soon.
