I live in Houston, Texas and own an iX M60 with the the Amido leather seats. I haven’t noticed any distinguishable difference between them or the slightly less expensive seats in my iX 50 loaner car that I’ve had for the last two weeks. It’s not something that’s even crossed my mind until seeing this thread. On top of that, I have super dark window tint all the way around my vehicle (including the windshield and roof) and the loaner car has none.

Leather also breath a lot better than any synthetic material.
