LED's are superior to xenons thats just the way it is. Its like night and day, the light has a broader projection, its like day light and hi beams are superior to xenons. They are worth every penny, its kind of like this:
xenon-Iphone 4 LED-Iphone S5

Yeah Definitely an LCI move...They really are amazing though on my m6...The other night it was crazy foggy out(like maybe 75 feet of visibility, and I could see the lights sort of putting more light on the areas that had the least dense fog as not to blind me as bad.. Really awesome technology. and should already be standard with all the cool led stuff brands like audi do.

Ok, so here's the lighting related "stuff" I have according to my VIN:
S522A Xenon Light S524A Adaptive Headlights S563A Light package S5ACA High-beam assistant S5APA Decode antiglare High-beam Assistant S5DLA Surround View So do I have the high beam thing? It says "decode" for S5APA? Does that mean the hardware to do it is there, but I need the software code to have the feature? ...and what is "light package" and "surround view"?? I should know what this stuff is, but the car came like this from the factory preconfigured...I didn't choose the options. |

Surround view adds cameras that allows you to display a bird's eye view of your car on your nav screen. It's really cool and very useful when you are trying to park in a tight spot. |

Thanks. I don't pick the car up until next week so I wasn't sure what to expect.
So if I am in Canada, should I assume that the DOT and the MOT (Ministry of Transportation) have the same regulations regarding the anti-glare thing?? What does it do exactly? |

Very helpful and you are correct. I do have S8S4A. Didn't see it the first time.
So do I need to recode both of these to "on" to reactivate the feature? |

A 2500€ option here, but after a few days of driving I must say it's worth it. Also the EU-spec high-beam assist works like a dream.
Absolutely no regrets. Much whiter light and looks wise a step up from xenons imho. |

Since HIDs (Bi-Xenons) are stock with M3/4, you need the Technology Package to get High Beam Assist. With the LEDs you get it as with the lights (don't think you get a discount on the Tech Package, though).

I think the LED Lights just look so cool, they give the car a much more agressive look.
They really change the face of the car, especially on the 4 and 6. I have driven the LEDs some times already, light is slightly better but not as much difference as Xenon VS normal bulps. Anyway I ordered them, just because I love the look. When you spend that much on a car it is stupid to talk about needs - nobody "needs" a 4 Series. |
