I know it's all just for fun (and views) but the Turbo S would have won if they didn't arbitrarily change the last race to a half mile. GT500 would have placed higher on a half mile run too.

seems fishy. They suddenly change it from 1/4 mile all day long to a 1/2 mile race at the final when Ferrari has to take on the Turbo S. Which it ends up winning by a hair.

i wonder how much ferrari paid them to not face the 911 in the knockout rounds and to change it to a 1/2 mile for the final ?

It's pretty much known by all that the Turbo S is the reigning king of the strip when it even outperforms the 720S. These guys wanted to level the playing field by extending said strip. That 139+ trap is telling how fast the newest 488 is though.

And yeah, until recently, Ferrari has been reluctant to offer test cars at all for these exhibitions. I don't know if its a holier than thou attitude or they're just afraid of having their esteemed clientele see them lose.

well the F8 and 720s are faster on a prepped surface. check the turbo S thread here. The fastest stock 720s ran a 9.7 @ 147 which a stock Turbo S can't hope to touch. But you need the right surface and some heat in the tires. On an unprepped surface with cold temps (real world scenario) like this video the 911 will usually pull out the win 9/10 times.

No surprise about ferrari like you mention. I had a 458 and they claim it can run a 10.9. All real world youtube videos show them running a mid-11 at the strip or worse.
