Car of the month.

I think we should have a car of the month section.
Were the mods pick one car each month to be "car of the month".
E90post has it and seems to work out nice.
So what do ya say?

how about members vote - and the member can't vote on their own car if nominated - the MODS nominate the cars...

i dont really think we have enough members with legit mods to start a car of the month

E90post's works because they have 45,000 members

i think ours would look something like. .

Nov car of the month. . Tiag 135i w/ black CSL reps
Dec car of the month. . . AW 135i w/ gunmetal CSL reps
Jan car of the month. . . montego blue 135i w/ black CSL reps
. . . .

I just sent an email to Larryn not to long ago regarding the 2009 Calendar and Car of the month section! =)

I think the 1Addict Business Cards/2009 Calendar and Car of the Month and a few other things will help the 1Addicts Community Grow!!

Let´s split up in groups, like Tiag Group, AW Group, Montego Group ect.
Make a treat with who is the owner, name, pics, mods ect. and with same signature....

I've got a suggestion on this. To make it easier on the mods to select which vehicles will be running for "ride of the month" it could help to have a "members rides" section. I suggest this b/c it would 1) allow members to track their favorites by subscribing to those threads while 2) providing somewhat of a showcase for mods to choose from. I think it would prevent rides from getting lost in the depths of the site and allow for a more level playing field between "old heads," who may have a fan base, and newer members.

then my suggestion is not only "car of the month" but how about Member Profile of the Month. A short (like a paragraph) bio of the owner/enthusiast and then their car(s) and mod list(s)...Any takers?
