As I wrote in another thread here today, I live well within my means in a modest two bedroom house. Our mortgage payments and philanthropy together still come up way short of just taking the standard federal deduction. The reason why I'm building a new home office out in the race car hauler is purely for marital and productivity reasons, not taxes.

On the topic of tax implications and the race car hauler, it is bigger than a 1-car garage inside and 100% free of school/property taxes. If I registered it in Maine as a non-resident (popular trick to get out of NY State DMV's high annual registration fees), the thing would be like a tax-free 1-car garage...that I can take anywhere I want.

The only gotcha is that it is not insulated or heated, and the portable aircon unit that I used in it during summer competition events is actually sitting in my office at work right now.....

Btw the friend that posted his coronavirus party on social media...he got a SERIOUS backlash from it. Like it even affected how his coworkers and bosses see him. Apparently he showed up to work coughing up a storm

My reaction was, hey I still love you bro but I can't say I blame them...you acted like a fucking idiot

Oh, hang on a minute, I just googled her...her very first album was 1987, but primarily her good work was in the 90's. I feel better.
Damn. I was just about to ask if I could have your stuff.

I have spotify on the audio system, but this is an actual jukebox - kinda neat to have it click over CDs.

Sorry MK. I like 80s hair bands but think 90s grunge blows it away. Stone Temple Pilot’s, Nirvana, Audio Slave over Def Leopard (sp) white snake any day.

Edit. Let’s not forget Foo Fighters.

Love all those groups BUT after a disco, the 80's burst onto the scene in a kaleidoscope of sight and sound. And MTV came of age. I had soooooooooo much fun!!

My son played catch with me for a whole 5 min today... back to his cell in shade soon after

Wife said we needed to acclimate our Josh to outdoors, we've been inside way to much, fresh air and sun feels so foreign

we had some Italian beef sandwiches and fruit salad, nice sunny day, awesome distraction, almost felt like a regular afternoon

(Please note) big park away from everyone
