BMW iX US Configurator is Up! What's your build?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
My dealer confirmed that the iX will be added to BMW's US configurator tomorrow. He already has the DOG but cannot share it until the configurator goes live. He said I will be placing my actual build order this week.

Update: the configurator is now online!

I notice that the configurator on the web does not show the Bowers and Wilkins sound system ($3,400) but on my iPhone I can select that option.

Love the black leather interior but my wife doesn't like black interiors. Your interior selection is more inline with a Tesla interior.

my fav interior is Silverstone found in X5M models

but somehow every time I find myself with Black I even had black in my X5M Monte Carlo Blue (I bought that used)

I think black will do with white exterior, I really wanted to upgrade from SensaTec but as I mentioned in my own post I can't stand that bronze trim on the headrest

also I'm not sure if I really want Active Driving Assistant Pro package, I'm kinda old school, strange to hear ordering this car but I barely touched cruise control in all my cars ever, could be good for resale value if I'll end up selling it sometime down the road.

Pedestrian colors, I'm surprised by the palette. All the blues they make, they pick Phytonic?

Nothing at all wrong with that color, but don't you want your special BMW to have different colors from a regular X?

BMW will likely offer Individual colors in a year or two but for a launch model they will always go with a tried and true color palette.

Same here! Expecting to build next week. The iX will replace our MY and could not be more excited. We're looking to get Phytonic Blue with leather and B&W with all the driving aids and tech features!

I'm thinking of this build https://www.bmwusa.com/build-your-ow...6wg4aa/summary

I would prefer the nicer leather, but I keep coming back to the Sensatec Mocha. The Gray leather lacked color contrast with other interior elements and made things seem a bit monochromatic. I saw the Castanea Chestnut leather in the flesh. The interior color contrast is nice, but the color just seemed off to my eye. All subjective....

Anyone know where to find some more photos of the Sensatec Mocha interior....?

MRSP 105 000 $ for a regular configuration...WTF...I will take by far an X5, more luxurious, much better looking, more features, more space...and no charging hassles!

Lol same MSRP as the X5M; a snarling, fire breathing beast always flexing its muscles.

On the other hand...there's this thing

Lmao 105k for a 300 mile range bloated i3 married a 4 series that's not even that appealing to the eye.

Why does my favorite car company continue to disappoint!

I was shocked at the price too. It's like asking $100K for what's basically an X3. I wouldn't consider something like this for more than 60K. I'd take the X5 any day for luxury, space and looks.
