Not to bring up an old thread, but the i3 has crazy low end torque and can merge with much more effectiveness and less drama in my i3 than my M3!

Indeed. My i3 is so easy to drive and the power is always available. I leave the M3 (F80) at home more and more these days. I just ordered an i3s as wel. Can't wait to get it!
