Warranty running out. U.K.
The warranty on my i8 expires in May. The warranty came with the car from the place I got it from. It’s a 2015 65 model. I don’t know if any on here in the U.K. knows of a really good warranty for our cars? I know the official BMW one is around £1700.00 per year. Although how I read it it doesn’t cover the main battery. Is it a good option to for? Many thanks.

My BWM warranty was around £950 on my 2016. The main battery is a separate guarantee included with the car and runs for 8 years from new. I think forum members have mentioned good third party warranties but I can't recall the companies- should come up with the search box.

Had a brief trawl through the FB groups. Of the small percentage of UK owners who had taken a third party warranty most had not tried claiming. Those who did had varying experiences re cover. Vast majority had taken out and recommended the BMW extended warranty. Hope that helps.

Mine expires in April and I'll definitely be renewing with BMW for peace of mind.
I think it's around £1k for my 2019 LCI.

My LCI warranty will cost £995 from BMW with a £100 excess and £911 with a £250 excess. Runs out on the 6th May - will most likely go for the £995...
